Location: Mounds View, MN Duration: Long time Role: Design Engineer The engineer will be responsible to perform detailed design analysis on critical design elements, participate, support or potentially lead corrective action teams to resolve quality issues (per CAPA process Requirements for this job are a BS in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Biomedical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree with 4+ years relevant engineering experience in design, development, manufacturing or quality within the medical industry. Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight and complete tasks within scheduled milestones. Skills and competencies include: good written and oral communication skills, ability to effectively lead projects or project elements in a cross functional teaming environment. An engineer that thrives on variety and flexible project assignments and has computer competency, good problem solving skills, strong time managements skills, strong team work and multi-tasking skills will excel in the position. Knowledge and experience using DRM/DFSS/Six Sigma is a plus. Basic Qualifications B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline with 4+ years of job-related experience or MS degree with 2+ years of job-related experience. 5+ years in medical device product development, or other highly regulated environment. Desired/Preferred Qualifications 5+ years working in an FDA regulated environment MS in engineering discipline 7+ years of job-related related experience.
