I'm would like more disposable income to focus on my goals in the coming year, so I decided to move out from my 1BR and look for a like-minded roommate (ideally 20s to early 30s) willing to spend 400-600 each on rent downtown or the east side. I'm an active 30 y/o male (econ grad xxxx) that has been working downtown in mortgage banking for the last 5 years. I enjoy fitness, nutrition, current events, music festivals, travel, and audio books (getting into the spiritual teachings of Eckart Tolle and Deepak Chopra lately). I have a busy routine during the week and generally don't get home until later. I like to unwind on Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee and a good article or magazine. I don't smoke and only occasionally drink, but still like to go out and have a good time on weekends. I consider myself pretty laid back and open minded and never have had a problem rent on time. I don't mind if you have people over to socialize and whatnot, as long as I'm able to get my sleep (weekdays in particular) and your friends respect the place.
