Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Syndicate Claim Services provides premier property and casualty adjusting services to a large client carrier base. We service daily claims throughout our footprint encompassing the Midwest and East Coast. Syndi-Cat, our catastrophe operation, provides Catastrophe adjusting services nationwide. We are currently seeking an experienced property and casualty adjuster in theWestern Wisconsin market. We are a growing company and this position will provide significant opportunity for advancement and growth. This position will be responsible for inspecting property damage claims, interpreting homeowners and commercial policies, completing estimates, negotiating agreed settlement with policyholders and / or their contractors and reporting recommendations to the client. Casualty / Liability claims will also be handled, including scene investigation and diagrams and recorded statements. We are looking for career-minded professionals interested in a team environment. You will be responsible for management of your claim load, including stringent reporting guidelines. Successful candidates will possess: Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills The ability to maintain timely and accurate communication Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software is a must. Experience with Symbility is preferred. The ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Demonstrated skills in time management, organization and planning. Candidate must be willing to lift and climb ladders and walk on roofs. Irregular hours are required and emergency responses will be necessary on occasion. Overnight travel will be required on occasion. The opportunity for extended travel during times of high volume will be available.
