Kwik Trip, Inc.'s Bakery department is looking for a general General Maintenance Technician. As a Building maintenance tech, you will be responsible for the basic routine maintenance of our state:of:the:art Bakery facility and grounds. Regular tasks include: completing minor building repairs, changing or cleaning filters on various assets, repairing and painting to improve the appearance of the facility, documenting service requests for repairs completed and installing various wall hangings and furnishings.
Qualifications: Candidates should be skilled in operating various hand and power tools; able to operate a motor vehicle safely; have basic Microsoft Office programs skills, be able to work well alone and as part of a team; strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; accurate/detail oriented; willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks; ability to prioritize; ability to support and meet department deadlines; possess good problem solving skills. All candidates must be able to work safely and within food safety and regulatory standards. Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in the bakery industry is a plus.
Physical qualifications: stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently; lift/carry 50 pounds frequently; lift/carry up to 80 pounds occasionally.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:00AM:3:00PM
